Who is Eli Coory<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eli Coory is a British filmmaker, former Reuters journalist, traveller, and father. He is known for his adventurous spirit, his commitment to storytelling, and his involvement in charitable causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2013, Eli began a daring solo motorcycle journey around the world under the project Solo on Moto, a not-for-profit initiative created to raise awareness and funds for children with cancer. His journey took him across challenging and remote regions, including Patagonia, the High Andes, the Atacama Desert in Chile, Alaska, and the deserts of North Africa. During his travels, he survived an attempted armed hijacking in Brazil, was caught in violent demonstrations in Istanbul, Turkey, and had experienced the realities of war in Lebanon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the expedition, his motorcycle endured difficult terrain, extreme weather, encounters with wild animals, and natural disasters. After surviving the journey, it was stolen in London within hours of his return. The motorcycle was later recovered, but with significant damage, delaying his planned continuation through Africa and the Far East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside his travels, Eli has continued to write and reflect on international affairs, society, and human experience. His background as a journalist and filmmaker has shaped his commitment to documenting real stories and giving voice to personal and humanitarian causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professionally, Eli has held directorial roles in several UK-based companies. From 1995 to 2005, he served as a director of Collingham Place Limited, York Mansions Limited, and Longridge Road Limited, as well as Solo on Moto Ltd, his not-for-profit initiative based in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, Eli became the proud father of Ga\u00efa. Since her birth, he has dedicated his time, energy, and love to caring for and raising his daughter. Ga\u00efa means the world to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Ga\u00efa\u2019s removal to Belarus, Eli has been engaged in a legal and humanitarian effort to restore contact and bring her safely home. He has worked through lawyers, social services, and government departments in France and the United Kingdom, pursuing lawful and official channels to protect his daughter\u2019s welfare and their father-daughter bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
